Summer in the mountains means one thing above all - climbing from peak to peak in breathtaking nature in order to find peace from everyday life. In Flachau and the surrounding area there are numerous ways to satisfy your wanderlust - here are our favourite routes

E-Bikes
Cycling across mountain ridges or leisurely along the river Enns - no problem, because we are in the heart of the Alps in Pongau, which are perfectly accessible for e-bikes. The large and well-guided trails and numerous charging stations make it even easier to have fun on two wheels.
You are also welcome to rent e-bikes directly from us!
Stoneman Taurista
Stoneman Taurista: 123 kilometers of pure mountain bike action await you with the Stoneman Taurista route, which leads over 4500 meters in altitude. Idyllic alpine valleys, glistening mountain lakes and imposing mountain peaks included.
You are also welcome to rent e-bikes directly from us!
Golf
Golf with mountain tapestry - no problem in our area. Golf courses for the best tee can be found in Radstadt, Schladming, St. Michael und St. Johann.
Water-Lakes &
Thermal Spa
Summer vacation and water belong together - even in the mountains! Whether for fun with slides & adventure or as a place to rest, the cool waters of the mountain lakes harbor clarity and offer a very special place of retreat.
Horseback Riding
There are several equestrian centres in the area where you can book riding lessons and outings on horses: feel free to ask us to help with any bookings!
Lifts & Gondolas in Summer
Selected lifts are also open in the summer time in Flachau. Get a comfortable start to your hike!
Flachau Summer Card
The Flachau Summer Card, valid from May 24th to October 2nd 2026, is automatically included in your stay. The summer car offers guided hikes, a varied active program, as well as discounts at service partners such as Thermal Spa Amadé, Lucky Flitzer, Minigolf, Pit-Pat, Fortress Hohenwerfen, Liechtensteinklamm and more. NEW: The 12 Peaks Adventure Card (lift tickets for five mountains) are available with a stay of three nights for half price.
FUNSPACE Flachau
FUNSPACE Flachau, open from JULY 2026 onwards, is a newly designed leisure outdoor-park, which combines adventure, fun and relaxation. Little explorers balance on obstacle runs and race down the Flyline, while the adults test their skills at the boulder wall and in the Ninja Parcours. The minis discover their own little world on the marble track in water and sand. Enjoy!
