Summer in the mountains means one thing above all - climbing from peak to peak in breathtaking nature in order to find peace from everyday life. In Flachau and the surrounding area there are numerous ways to satisfy your wanderlust - here are our favourite routes
The sun on your back, carries you gently, step by step, to higher and higher altitudes. To arrive, where everything, with just the right amount of distance, gains clarity.
E-Bikes
Cycling across mountain ridges or leisurely along the river Enns - no problem, because we are in the heart of the Alps in Pongau, which are perfectly accessible for e-bikes. The large and well-guided trails and numerous charging stations make it even easier to have fun on two wheels.
You are also welcome to rent e-bikes directly from us!
Stoneman Taurista
Stoneman Taurista: 123 kilometers of pure mountain bike action await you with the Stoneman Taurista route, which leads over 4500 meters in altitude. Idyllic alpine valleys, glistening mountain lakes and imposing mountain peaks included.
You are also welcome to rent e-bikes directly from us!
Golf
Golf with mountain tapestry - no problem in our area. Golf courses for the best tee can be found in Radstadt, Schladming, St. Michael und St. Johann.
Water-Lakes &
Thermal Spa
Summer vacation and water belong together - even in the mountains! Whether for fun with slides & adventure or as a place to rest, the cool waters of the mountain lakes harbor clarity and offer a very special place of retreat.
Horseback Riding
We have our own riding paddock and if you’re lucky or very patient our ponies might be in a good mood and you can do a few minutes on the backs of our ponies. Just check with the farmer ;-)

Lifts & Gondolas in Summer
Selected lifts are also open in the summer time in Flachau. Those can be used free of charge one time with the Flachau Summer Card, which is automatically included in the booking of a 2-night stay in summer.
Flachau Summer Card
The Flachau Summer Card is valid from May 18th to October 3rd 2023 and is automatically included in the booking of a 4-night stay in summer. This includes one free-of-charge ski lift summer ride at Starjet 1 and 2! Guided hikes, a varied active program, as well as discounts at service partners such as Thermal Spa Amadé, Lucky Flitzer, Minigolf, Pit-Pat, adventure castle Hohenwerfen, Liechtensteinklamm and more.
