We have gathered the most frequently asked questions below. We are happy to answer any further questions and address suggestions personally. Please do not hesitate to contact our friendly reception team.
Rooms and Suites
Our rooms and suites are available for check-in latest at 3 pm.
We kindly ask you to check-out by 11 am.
All of our rooms and suites have a balcony or terrace, except for the spruce single bedroom.
A changing table is available in the public restroom. Diaper pail, baby cot and children's stool in the room is available upon request.
Yes, upon request at the reception.
We will be happy to provide you with fall protection if required.
The hotel is supplied with water from our own mountain spring. Mountain spring water is of the highest drinking quality and flows from all taps.
Farm
There are around 35 cows, calves and oxen, also bunnies Benjamin and Luisa, that are living on the farm. The two ponies Pipilotta and Lenka as well as our goats.
All children area allowed to pet the animals. In the winter months the cows can be visited in the afternoon when the farmer Hans takes care of feeding them.
In the summer months, the farm day takes place once a week. Among other things, we feed animals together, bake farmer's bread or apple strudel, jump in the hay and maybe even get a ride on the tractor.
Culinary
We gladly change the menu according to your needs. Therefore vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free diets do not pose any problems. Please inform us about your special nutritional needs before your stay.
Please inform us about any allergies and food intolerances before your arrival.
Children and teens are able to order from our children’s menu. In case they have a special request, we are happy to accommodate such a request with timely notice. The dishes are balanced and seasoned according to age.
Active Winter
You have a variety of skiing areas in close proximity. You have the choice to drive by car yourself to either Altenmarkt (7-minutes drive), Zauchensee-Flachauwinkel (16-minutes drive) or Flachau (10-minutes drive) OR use the free-of-charge ski bus which starts directly at the hotel parking garage and takes you to Space Jet 1 in Flachau.
We can’t influence the weather, but the ski area boasts with the best technology in snow machines and is therefore one of the most snow- secure areas in Austria.

Active Summer
Bicycles and e-bikes for adults or children can be rented directly at the hotel or at the sporting goods shops Intersport Schneider and Sport 2000 in Altenmarkt with a rental fee.
These can be rented against a fee at the Intersport Schneider in Altenmarkt.
In Flachau there are various hiking routes which you can do with a stroller. Our team at the reception is happy to assist you with specific advice according to your needs.
Flachau and its surrounding area is known for its child-friendly mountain cabins with playgrounds and petting zoos. Many cabins are easy to reach for the little hikers.
The tourism center in Flachau offers various beautiful hiking tours in the summer months. Furthermore there are awe-inspiring hikes that start directly at the hotel; such as Sattelbauer-Lackenalm-Lackenkogel or the “Weg der guten Wünsche” hike.
Sunrise hikes as well as mountain peak tours are offered on a regular basis in the summer by the tourism center in Flachau.

Our parking garage and parking spaces around the hotel are available free-of-charge.

We confirm your booking with a written reservation confirmation via e- mail. As soon as the requested deposit is credited to our account, your reservation is guaranteed and fixed.
In order to avoid unnecessary costs, we recommend that you take out a European travel insurance. Our reception team will be happy to advise you. Otherwise, the cancellation conditions apply according to the general terms and conditions for the hotel industry according to our terms and conditions.
There are two general practitioners in town who are also on call on the weekends. The pharmacy in Altenmarkt is on call at all times, so no matter at what time you are able to receive urgently needed medicine.
Even on holidays doing the laundry is sometimes necessary. We are happy to do your laundry for you against a small fee.
Our prices are “from-prices” per person/night including gourmet half- board and all Winterbauer included services. Visitor’s tax of € 2,00 per person/day (starting from age 15) is excluded.
